Cullmanns Magnesit tripods all share the extensive use of Magnesium alloy in key components: leg locks, tripod star ( collar ) and mounting plate. These components, deliver a tripod that is not only extremely strong and durable, but lighter in weight than just about any equally-sized  tripod in their class.

All models come with an additional short center column, great for extremely low angles, as well as a hex wrench, which releases the reversible ¼ 1/4 - 3/8 mounting stud, located on top of the camera plate. This hex wrench does double duty, in that it can also be used to tighten the leg locks, if needed. A weight hook is located at the bottom of the center column. Large rubber feet grip smooth surfaces, and also retract to reveal ground spikes, used for outdoor/uneven surfaces.

Two models, plus an additional Monopod round-out the Cullmann MAGNESIT range. All models carry a 10 year warranty.
