The revival of the original Cullmann Titan series of tripod has been in the making for the past number of years. Considered to be the “ pet project “ of Wolfgang Cullmann, owner of Cullmann AG, this series of tripod and Concept 1 Accessories epitomizes performance, functionality, and durability. Each and every Titan Tripod is laser etched with a serial number, and, upon registration carries a 20 year warranty, testimony to the compassion that is built into each and every model. All Titan products are manufactured in Germany.

Two models comprise the tripod series, and share identical characteristics, with only a few exceptions:

The models are : Titan 935 ----Air Dampened Center Column
                                Titan 935G—Geared Center Column

Titan is a two ( 2 ) section tripod, the bottom section ( 27 inches ) being completely impervious to the elements: water, mud, sand, dirt, and dust. This allows the tripod to be used under the most rigorous of conditions, and is equally at home in the studio as it is on location, be it a river bed, rock canyon, or city street. Optional dual spikes ( TX-665 ) for firm purchase in dirt ot ground are easily switched from the supplied large rubber feet. A multi hex wrench set comes with each tripod in case the user finds it necessary to tighten any portion of the tripod. In addition, a convenient Spirit Level ( CU-40678 ) slot is positioned at the Tripod Star, or collar.

With both models, the center column can be locked into position with a center locking knob, utilizing 4 large, easy-to-grip  tabs.

Leg height adjustments are accomplished with individual, large and easy to grip levers. This lever has three positions: Fully locked, adjustment mode, and completely open. This locking system allows for complete adjustment of tripod height without the photographer ever having to take his/her eye from the camera’s viewfinder, and provides super quick adjustment at any height.
